My name is Richelle Shaw and I wrote the book, How to Build A Million Dollar Business in Las Vegas, Without the Casinos which is based on my struggles and successes of building my multi-million dollar telephone company. I have been in Las Vegas since 1991 and things have changed considerably. I am shocked at how many networking events there are… AND places where only the organizers of the meetings are making money.
1. ONLY business owners may attend. Business owners who have a financial responsibility to run their businesses every day. Owners who are responsible for making payroll and keeping the doors open. We do not allow any parasites. You know them, certain people who only come to the meeting to sell you! We kick them OUT!
2. We network but only as an aside. We are there to share successful marketing strategies to grow our businesses.

Then, 9-11 World Trade Center Tragedy, AND, I lost my multi-million dollar telephone company and had to file bankruptcy.

I read and read about marketing however, I did not find proven strategies. I found theory. I even decided to return to UNLV and get an MBA because I thought that would help? Huh?
